Back By Popular Demand.. Pork Chops in Nanette Sauce! One Day Only!

Another simple meal. I’m loving the fact that I don’t have to devote

As I mentioned in a previous post, I planned out this week’s dinners in advance. All week I’ve been hearing, “Is it pork chop nigh tonight?  Oh.. ok. Tomorrow???” .. not for the pork chops, but for the saucy deliciousness.

It’s deceptively simple but absolutely killer..

1 1/2 cups cream, 1 tbsp dijon mustard, and 2 tbsp tomato paste

Combine this in a pan that has been used to fry some center cut pork chops and you’ve got something magical.

In other news, I used my fresh mozzarella to make a caprese salad to go with. Had to have some sort of something healthy here because frankly.. this is probably really really bad for you.

I will close with a brief excerpt from tonight’s meal conversation:

Me: So, would you say that this is the Michael Jordan of Meals?

Roy: Ehhh.. I would say that Michael Jordan is to low brow for this.

Me: Reallllllly? So people on the internet will be jealous when they see the pictures?

Roy: Or they’ll be wrong.

It then turned into a conversation about Pistol Pete Maravich… in which he had to explain who the hell that was. It became less funny at that point. Anyway, posting the recipe for this. Hope you enjoy!
