100+ Degrees Outside = Lazy Food

Last night when I got home, it was hot as a little oven in my apartment. I was thinking about scrapping the whole ‘make dinner’ idea to grab some take out.. but ultimately my own laziness (and inability to change back out of my pajamas) won out.

The final product of my laziness. This looks like it has much less bacon than it actually does. Apologies for the clear under-representation of pork.

3 eggs

2 slices bacon

1/4 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup grated parmesan

The ingredients and preparation couldn’t have been easier. I cooked 2 slices of bacon, crumbled and drained it. I boiled a bag of noodles because I was way too lazy to make my own. Once the noodles were done cooking, I drained them and immediately added the parm, cream, egg mixture (which I had previously combined into a large measuring cup. I stirred it furiously for about 3 minutes. I added the bacon, and tossed. Then, finally I salt and peppered the hell out of it.

I am a lazy slug when it’s hot. Expect more of the same tonight.
