From one end of the culinary spectrum to the other..

In a span of 24 hours, I’ve gone from sophisticated flavor combination and curing my own salmon to pretty much the entire other end of the spectrum.  Every so often I crave utter junk food, but in Confluent Kitchen fashion, I make it myself.

I whipped up a quick cornbread batter, applied it lovingly to some soy corndogs, and in the frydaddy it went. Because I have the smaller frydaddy.. they came out looking kind of.. how you say… phallic?

But if you can overlook that, they were quite delicious.

Tonight was a lazy night.. and by lazy, I mean, worked all day, came home and did some homework, played with the cats, and then cooked dinner. I miss the weekend already.

About The Confluent Kitchen

I am food obsessed. I love trying new recipes, putzing in the kitchen, making my own cheese and other random kitchen tom-foolery. Follow my exploits.. the good, the bad, and the burnt.
