Today did sucketh.

Another day of overtime at work.. It was a long, frustrating day.. followed by an hour or so of equally frustrating overtime.

So guess who didn’t feel like making her own soba? … Me.  Or her very own mayonnaise. Again, me.

I stopped by Sprouts and got some chicken, soba, and red chile paste.  I combined some sad, store bought mayo, some red chile paste, a bunch of honey, some pepper, and a smidge of extra fine sugar. For pulling a total Sandra Lee, I was still pretty pleased with the result.

In other news, after work I stopped and bought a new camera. I certainly hope that you see some improvements in photos, cause I went from 8 megapixels to 14.2. FANCY!  But in a ‘first world problems’ turn of events, I realized I’m gonna have to clean up the edges of my plates better because my not shitty phone camera can actually see them.

*sighhhhhhhh*   my awesome camera shows lots of detail..  *siggghhhhhhhhh*

Anyway, I am whipped. Good night all.

Check in tomorrow for cabbage rolls. Pennsylvania Pollocks, represent. 🙂

    What camera did you buy?

  2. It looks delish and quit kicking yourself, life is hard! You are doing a great job.

This is not even a half Sandra Lee. A full on Sandy meal would have added bologna, cool whip and about a gallon of Red Rosé. Go easy on yourself, there.

  4. I need a new camera too… mine was from a pre-baby life. Which was 6 years ago. Time for a new one. I keep letting the kids play with it, in hopes of breaking and in need of immediate replacement. And your dinner looks yummy… sounds like a good weekend meal for me!

    • Thanks! I keep having to take and retake pictures because I’m not quite as skilled as I could be at working my camera. Dinner ended up being really tasty, but I think I will go whole hog and tempura batter the chicken next time.

I suggest letting the little one play with it in the bath tub?
